Early 2012 James started to record his first song ‘DAREDEVIL’,
determined to form a band soon.
After he finished the song, he was searching for a lead singer, neither planning nor confident enough to be the lead singer at that time.
Shortly thereafter it was one of his singer friends who encouraged him to start singing and recording his own music with his own voice. When James started to post everywhere to find band members under the name of `SHADOW-THRONE’, many musicians called him to form the band.

THE NAME ROCK ROCKIES

has been given to James in 2013 by one of his closest friends with a new riff to represent the band. Later on, James completed the riff to become an instrumental song, named ‘ROCK ROCKIES JINGLE’. At that time ROCK ROCKIES started with three band members, two guitars, and one drummer. In early 2014 the band released their first E.P album under the name of ‘DAREDEVIL’, containing the two songs DAREDEVIL and DIRT, which became well known in the music field. Later on, James continued his search for more band members interested to join. He finished the band formation and also the album but did not record all songs. By then the band started to have invitations to perform in small gigs and earned its first 50 Egyptian Pounds.

NEW BEGINNING

In 2016 the band went through some transformations. Nevertheless, the new single song ‘BAD GIRL’ was released and became ROCK ROCKIES’ greatest hits, after all, it was played in two US and one British radio stations. Subsequently, it didn’t take long and James found the perfect formation for his band ROCK ROCKIES.

James also works as a music teacher in an international school, and a choir leader in Geothe institute with PASCH choir Germany.

I won't stop till I make it to the top

One of the best photos ever I love this

Really happy with being in German newspa

English: James Massi, 34, is a music teacher in Cairo and teaches the Pasch Choir's children, aged between 10 and 15. Pasch, that stands for the partner school initiative of the Federal Foreign Office launched in 2008 by the then Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Massi is enthusiastic about his first visit to Bavaria and can be photographed on Friday in the hall of the Wolfratshaus town hall together with city archivist Simon Kalleder. "You already have ideas in advance," says Massi, "but you can only see what it really is on site." He wondered how clean everything was in Wolfratshausen and how open and friendly the people were. "We have so many cars and the air is very polluted."
